There are a few possibilities here, first make sure that you can close the door easily and that there is not any food keeping the door from closing all the way. Also make sure the venting and fan in the back has some room, make sure food isn’t crammed in full and pushed back all the way against the wall completely. It could be an issue with the defrost thermostat or defrost system.
Yes, A refrigerator should be set around 37-40 degrees. Check and make sure the interior vents are open and air can pass through from the freezer. Check the slide indicator and make sure the temperature settings didn’t get bumped up. If none of these solve your problem, there could be a problem with your refrigerators thermostat or cooling system.
