If your dryer cycle takes longer to dry than normal, there is an issue. Always clean your lent filter on a regular basis each time you run the dryer. Check between the vent and the wall, if the dryer is on and you don’t feel hot air blowing back against your hand through the foil venting, check to see if there is lent caught in the venting. If you don’t find anything clogging it, it could be clogged between your walls to the exit vent or be something else. If you have the ability to check outside where the vent is, go put your hand out and feel if hot air is blowing. If it is not, you have a venting clog and need to have a dryer venting service come out. (We recommend Dryer Ventz or Home Safe) If you’ve checked both and none seem to be the culprit, call John’s Appliance Repair in Plano and we will come repair your dryer. If you need help or guidance at all, please call us before running your dryer to make sure it is safe.
